The Tai Chi Coin shows respect for old masters who contemplated the nature of the universe and practiced living in energetic harmony with their surroundings. Lao Tzu wrote a foundational Chinese text known as the Tao Teh Ching during the sixth century BCE, and is often regarded as one of the most influential teachers of "universal truth.”  Tai Chi can be seen as the "grand ultimate" force which bridges, back and forth, between the states of nothingness (Wuji) and beingness (Yin-Yang). From the largest scale of the universe, all the way down to the smallest cell in the human brain, natural energy (Qi) is manifested and then returned to its source.
